Usborne Books for Spring & Summer (and a book list for boys!)

My friend Calli from Story Weaver Mercantile is my book lady- my go to for Usborne books for homeschool, read-a-louds and chapter books!

I am hosting a FB event this Thursday, to show you what’s new, books to inspire Spring & Summer projects and the list so many have asked for: my favorite chapter books for boys and the Illustrated series my boys LOVE for read-a-loud.

If you are interested in shopping online, click here! I like to use the search bar and to check out “top sellers” & “new arrivals” for fun. But first, here are a few of my favorite Usborne books I have ordered in the past:

Now let’s talk about spring and summer book inspiration! I personally choose not to homeschool over the summer months because we have so many interests outside our core curriculum that I like to use this time to change up our learning. This summer my oldest will do a weekly typing course, we will work on the boys cooking skills, we will plant a vegetable garden, study the trees, birds and plants in our yard, study more about foraging for food, we plan to study survival skills (like Bear Grylls) do science experiments and art projects.

Here are the books I will use from Usborne for our summer learning:

I also plan on giving my oldest son, some time every day to read! So many friends have asked for books for their sons and Usborne has so many my son has loved and more that we plan on buying for the summer. Most mornings he takes a book and heads to our backyard hammock to read- it’s that amazing? It’s all because I am researching books I know he will love.

If you want any help with books for your kids or homeschool let me know- I am happy to help!
